Do I need to keep my computer on?

Yes. You only earn while your computer is on, connected to the internet and sharing is turned on. SteadyEarner runs in the background, so you can use your computer normally. You earn for up to 8 hours of sharing a day. The app can keep sharing after that, but only the first 8 hours a day are paid.
